Ex-military now in civilian security in hostile environments? Still in the military but don't get enough range time? Keep up your shooting skills in a UK indoor environment. The AR15 is our primary weapon, but we also have a few others (AK47, MP5, Uzi). To comply with UK law we only use rifles chambered in 22LR, but to hone your accuracy and rapid target acquisition these are ideal. Usage and optics are as typically found on these rifles (iron sights, red dot, scope). Accuracy is critical in a threatening environment, you have to take that shot before it's too late.
